Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

From 1998, the IJWCA is the Host Institution in Eastern India for organizing the JLPT.  IJWCA is organizing

the said test with kind co-operation of Consulate General of Japan, Kolkata.

 The forth-coming JLPT is on Sunday, 3rd December, 2017.

                 (Forms will be available with our Watchmen from 10 a.m. to 7 30 p.m. on weekdays)

Issue of Application Forms    : From – Monday 21st August, 2017

Last Date of submission of Application Forms-: up to- Friday,  8th September,2017

Forms with fees to be submitted between 3 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. at the office of  Host Institution on weekdays only

Test Centre: Name & address of the Centre will be separately intimated later.

Examination Fees and cost of Application Form may be paid in CASH or by BANK Draft / PAY ORDER which should be payable

to INDO-JAPAN WELFARE AND CULTURAL ASSOCIATION, JLPT A/c. (Cost of Test Guide with Application Forms=Rs.100/-;

Examination Fees for N1= Rs. 1,000/-, N2= Rs. 1,000/-, N3= Rs. 800/-, N4= Rs. 800/-, N5= Rs. 800/-)

CANDIDATES are requested to fill up the Form carefully with black dot pen quite legibly so that impressions on all

                  pages become easily understandable.

CANDIDATES must write in the APPLICATION FORM their address properly with Postal Code (PIN CODE).

                  If the full postal address with Postal Code (PIN CODE) is not mentioned properly, there is every chance of delay or

                   non-distribution of the Test Voucher (i.e. Admit Card) and also the Result, for which the Host Institution (IJWCA) will

                   not be responsible in any way.          


            SPECIAL NEWS:  Mrs. Gouri Bakshi, General-Secretary of our Association donated a huge number of books

            on Japan, Japanese Art, Literature and other various subjects. All these books are 50 years collection of Late

            Dr. D. N. Bakshi, former General Secretary of our Association. From the variety of books one can understand

            the vastness of knowledge and periphery of studies by Dr. D.N. Bakshi. Many students, former students,

            teachers, members of Japanese Language and Japanology have taken book/s for their own collection.

             A few books are still lying with us. Any interested person on Japanese  Language, History & Culture

            may take the book/s by the permission of the authority.
